All life is an involuntarily part of a gigantic chain reaction, which extends back to the beginning of life. The work shows a growth structured on the assumption that every person is the product of two parents – a mother and a father. Starting with the 10th generation in the outside circle (with 512 individuals), the threads make their way through the generations by pairing and building knots with eachother. With every generation more threads join the strands, like the genetic information of each individual. In the middle all threads join in one final knot, the temporary end of this universal family tree – that carries information of every individual of the growth.
